Who is this for?
The Freelancer Sharing Circles are for you if you are a freelancer, solopreneur, or work by yourself in any other capacity. This is for you if:
working by yourself sometimes feel hard
you feel lonely
you don’t know where you’re going
you’ve come to realise that the #FreelanceLife sold on Instagram doesn’t reflect the reality of solo working
you know how important it is to pause every now and again to reflect on what’s been happening so you can recalibrate if necessary
you are aware that good mental health is a key element of your professional success
you want to inject some meaning, connection and fun into your work life
What are the Freelancer Sharing Circles?
The Freelancer Sharing Circles are monthly online meet-ups for freelancers and solopreneurs to check-in on their wellbeing at work, connect with other solo workers, and enjoy some good company and quality conversations.
What happens during the Freelancer Sharing Circles?
The sessions are guided by me, Claire 👋🏻 a freelancer translator and copywriter who’s now been working solo for 8 years. I give us prompts, we take a moment to journal, and we take turns to share our findings. Others can chime in to share some encouragement, compassion, and/or their own experience. The sessions last for 2,5 hours, with a break in the middle, and some fun at the end!
Where are the Freelancer Sharing Circles happening?
The Freelancer Sharing Circles are online events happening once a month. You’ll get a link to a Google meet in the confirmation email. Dates vary, but we tend to meet on a Wednesday morning (Paris time). Subscribe to the newsletter to be informed of future dates :)
Who are the Freelancer Sharing Circles run by?
It’s me, hi 👋🏻 My name is Claire and I’ve been working as a freelancer since 2016. I started the Freelancer Sharing Circles because I realised how useful it was to share the specific work struggles I was experiencing as a freelancer, as well as my proud moments, with other people who actually got it. I believe that work can be fulfilling without being overwhelming, and that changing the way we work is a critical part of making personal as well as societal changes for the better. You can find out more about me on here, or use this contact form if you have any question. If you’ve read all of this, I’d love to hear from you!
